So lately I’ve been caught up in the xbox 360 release. I wanna get in on the next iteration of game consoles early this time. Clearly I didn’t know what I was doing because I passed up my opportunity to preorder one online in favor of buying one in the store. Yeah right.

Anyhow… my little bro, Alex, is all about the Nintendo Revolution. An interesting piece of work. Nintendo has intelligently decided to step off the typical path and be a little innovative. And after a little research, I have to admit that I’m intrigued. Even people that prefer the keyboard/mouse combo may be enticed by the Revolution’s take on control. Sadly they dumped high definition; I guess to keep the price way the heck lower than the xbox 360 and ps3. Here are a couple links to check it out.

Tough Love vs. Spanking

Most of America’s populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of “those moments”.

One that I found very effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk.

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together.

I’ve included the photo below of one of my sessions, with our son, in case you would like to use the technique.

Its very effective!
