Today is my birthday, happy birthday… to me!

Filed under: Banter — Padraig @ 10:57 am

I sent out this email to many, here it is for the modzer0 crew.

Today I’ve acquired twenty-seven years!

To celebrate such an occurrence there will be a birthday bash out at my partially constructed cabin! Come eat, drink, and be merry with me on such a GLORIOUS occasion!

There will be refreshments, a BBQ or two cooking up some grub, and even a mini keg of Silver Gulch beer! Any food or drink you bring will be appreciated as well.

Kids and significant others are welcome. I’ve got a four year old of my own, and he could use some buddies around his own age!

I’ll be out there by 6:00 and I wager the festivities will be winding down by 10:00 or so.

My place is about 13 miles from the U.

There is a map attached, but here are some directions:

Drive out the Parks Highway past Gold Hill Tesoro and past the weigh station
probably about a mile past the weigh station turn left on Cripple Creek Rd.
drive a while (a few miles)
notice a ‘pavement ends’ sign
next right comes shortly thereafter and is Rosie Creek Trail; turn there
take 90 degree left at the ‘fork in the road’
come to a T in the road. this is Kallenburg. turn right
down a hill, up a hill, little squiggly
notice a right turn. look down that road and notice a sign saying ‘betts bypass’
take this right
go about 100 yards
turn right at the ‘fork’ (this unlabeled street is Hulme Ct.)
theres a cul de sac with a tiny amount of parking… it is probably a better idea to park on Betts’ Bypass and walk the rest of the way
At the cul de sac you’ll notice a red house to your left. That’s not it. Go down the ‘homemade’ road right in front of you. This is the driveway. My house is the barn style one with a blue roof on your left

Blog type entry

Filed under: Banter — Padraig @ 3:57 pm

As I was yuking it up with some work buddies about this little thing I found while surfing last night, I realized I ought to post the links on my blog. How very blog like of me that would be.

Intro: Growing up I was a big fan of the A-Team, and the people at stuffo noticed that EVERYBODY knows the A-Team. You can try it yourself. Start humming the theme song as you waltz down the sidewalk and it won’t be long before you’ve got a whole choir singing along with you!

Content: Link One, and Link Two.

Enjoy,

Got an XP cd

Filed under: Banter — Padraig @ 2:24 pm

Burbble hooked me up with a copy of the CD I had. It was the UAF site license. Whoever has my CD gets to keep it now… granted I think they would have kept it anyway. Good times, and thanks for that CD, Chris!
